A low protein self-saucing chocolate pudding
Ingredients
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup low protein- Milk replacer
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 teaspoons 8 Oz cocoa powder (equals 2 grams protein)
- 1 cup low protein flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Vanilla essence
- Sauce
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons 8oz cocoa powder
- 1 and 3/4 cups boiling water
Method
- Mix all dry ingredients
- Add melted butter and the milk replacer and stir to combine
- Pour into ovenproof dish
- Combine all sauce ingredients and stir until dissolved
- Pour sauce over batter
- Cook in moderate oven for 30-40mins
- Total protein equals 4 grams (please check protein on whatever cocoa powder you use)
- Serve 6
- Each serve equals 0.7 per serve
